Graffiato

Visiting restaurants of Top Chef contestants is one of our favorite thing to do while traveling, and even in our own city for that matter. While R and I were in DC this summer for a friends' wedding, we were able to stop by Graffiato by Mike Isabella. During the Top Chef All-Stars season, Mike made a pepperoni sauce that Gale Simmons could not stop raving about, I think she actually licked the plate. Lucky for us, Mike had a dish with the pepperoni sauce on the menu so we could experience the pepperoni pleasure for ourselves and it did not disappoint.  The food is great at Graffiato and the ambiance is comfortable. I love really good pizza and Graffiato delivered. We were there for lunch and only tried three dishes, but were impressed by all the flavor of each dish.
