Weekend Challenge: Drink Sangria

Who doesn't love sangria? Wine + fruit + refreshment = a major win. Sangria is exponentially better when consumed with your favorite friends.I hold this sangria near and dear to my heart. I was first turned onto this recipe at my bachelorette party when my maid of honor, S, made it for our girly poolside day drinking. That was such a special weekend and this sangria will always remind me of what a great time I had. I made this recipe for the Super Bowl party I went to and because I doubled the recipe, there was A LOT left. Perfect for girl's night on Monday for the Bachelor!

1 vanilla bean, seeds scraped, pod discarded
 3 bottles Riesling.
1 C peach schnapps
1/3 C fresh lemon juice
6 Tbsp sugar
3 ripe peaches cut into wedges
1 C fresh raspberries
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced

I chose not to use sugar and I used a White Grape Peach juice instead to increase the quantity and add more flavor. I can't say enough good things about this sangria and if you are having the girls over, parents for brunch, or a bad day- this will do the job. So if you're up for the challenge, drink sangria this weekend and then report back to tell us all about it!

Do you have a favorite cocktail recipe to make for a group? You know we want to hear about it!
